As we get ready to say goodbye to 2010, it makes me think of 1999. 11 years ago many of us were preparing for Y2K in fear that the computers wouldn’t change from 99 to 2000. Many stocked their pantries, cellars, basements, ect with water, batteries, paper goods, matches, canned food, supplies to survive without running water or electricity. I wonder how long it took to use up those supplies. I don’t think I even made sure I had batteries. And I went and partied like it was 1999 with my friend Jennifer at our local boot stomp. Nothing happened. The new year came in like any other one and now here we are going into 2011.
In tribute to 2010 I am going to do 10 top 10 posts (in no particular order):
- My 10 Most Visited Posts
- My First 10 followers
- My 10 best commenters (I hope there are)
- My 10 favorite furniture blogs
- My 10 favorite craft blogs
- The 10 blogs that were the most helpful for blogging tips
- The 10 projects from blog-land that I love the most
- 10 blog posts with inspiring color (I am trying to embrace more color)
- I use Pinterest to save projects that inspire me…so I will share the 10 most repinned
- In all goodness, 10 things I would like to accomplish or try in 2011
Too bad I haven’t posted many of my projects in the last few months, I would probably have a harder time posting my top 10 posts. I will post 1 tribute a day (10 days left) so stay tuned.
Sounds interesting. I, too, remember Y2K and all the hype. I didn't stockpile but some of my friends did. And now we're heading toward 2011.
